**Job Summary**
AECOM Salt Lake City is searching for a Safety Coordinator to join our on\-site team at the Salt Lake City International Airport\. This Terminal Redevelopment Project \(TRP\) Safety Coordinator position requires the following duties and experience\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or construction related discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, certification, training, skills, knowledge, and abilities
+ Minimum of seven years of progressive work experience in the Health and Safety field
+ Demonstrated experience in a leadership position in Health and Safety Programs and preferably certification or membership/affiliation with a professional safety related organization
+ Completed various OSHA Training programs including 10 hour and 30 hour\.
+ Responsible for assuring safety compliance throughout all levels of the construction program
+ Attend regular meetings and perform site visits to verify Health and Safety control measures are in place
+ Review all Contract Documentation relating to Health and Safety requirements and advise any changes required to maintain a safe environment
+ Review contractor Safety Programs along with a description of the hazards peculiar to the scope of work and make any recommendations required to maintain a safe working environment
+ Participate in preconstruction and pre\-activity meetings with contractors to ensure compliance with TRP Construction Safety Program
+ Monitor the construction program and look ahead schedules and inform parties of any unacceptable risks and recommend actions to reduce risks\.
+ Ensure that all Consultant and Construction personnel are issued and wear the relevant Personal Protective Equipment \(PPE\) and that these individuals and any visitors to the site are provided relevant information and training to maintain their safety
+ Must have a successful track record in risk management, conflict resolution; have a positive attitude; work well under pressure and a propensity for collaborative teamwork
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience on aviation capital improvement projects of $200 million or greater in value is preferred
