We pride ourselves on ensuring we deliver the best customer service possible to our people while building trust and relationships with all of our constituents\. **Job Summary** The candidate will be a part of a Global Tax team and be a key member of the Canadian management team\. The candidate will help coordinate the tax efforts of the Canadian operations in various countries with responsibility of a growing business with over $1\.5 billion in revenue and employing over 5,000 employees in more than fifty \(50\) countries\. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Job Description: + Work with Tax Director on special transactions and worldwide tax planning in order to provide tax and operational efficiencies + Preparation of the annual tax provision for the Canadian entities in accordance with US GAAP + Work in collaboration with AECOM Corporate Tax Department in Los Angeles on the preparation of the quarterly tax provision in accordance with US GAAP + Participate in the preparation of the Canadian income tax and information returns and other required election forms + Oversee correspondences with tax authorities, reconciliation of tax accounts and reports to management + Provide assistance with tax authorities audits through tax analysis, information gathering and status documentation + Coordinate tax compliance process and requirements for the corporation’s foreign affiliates and branches mainly in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East + Collaborate in the operational planning process to identify any foreign tax withholding and liability issues, and propose alternate scenarios + Involvement in the R&D Tax Credit recovery process + Work with Corporate finance & accounting personal in the Americas region on other tax matter assistance they may need in relation to operations in Latin America or the Pacific **Minimum Requirements** + CA, CMA, CGA designation, Master’s Degree in Tax or completion of the CICA In\-Depth Tax Level I & II + Minimum of five \(5\) years’ experience in Tax within a professional accounting firm, or, combined experience within a professional accounting firm and the Taxation Department of a corporation + Knowledge of International Tax\. Especially in emerging markets is an asset + Excellent communication skills\. French and/or Spanish is an asset + Ability to work within a multi\-cultural team of professionals with colleagues situated around the world + Clear knowledge of TAXPREP and Excel + Experience with Onesource Tax Provision Software, Hyperion, and Oracle is an asset + Knowledge of US GAAP tax accounting is an asset **Preferred Qualifications** + Advanced skills in Excel + Familiarity with OneSource Tax Provision software, Hyperion, and Oracle + Familiarity of US GAAP tax accounting + French speaking skills **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
