Duties (Representative)
• Responsible for processing and managing large volumes of data using MSC logistics systems.
• Responsible for reconciling data from differing data sources, and investigating and resolving inventory data errors.
• Will be required to produce reports to N4 on inventory data as compared to external data sources.
• Will be required to convert and manipulate information from both automated media and hardcopy, including use of relational database management systems, spreadsheets, and report generators.
Specialized Experience (Desired)
• Experience using a variety of IT equipment to scanners, bar code scanners, tablet computers, and MS Office suite proficiency.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or fee; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to supervisors and managers on all safety issues. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position may require travel.
Job Description: Purpose and Scope:
Work requires a familiarity with the terminology of the office unit. Selects appropriate methods from a wide variety of procedures or makes simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides and manuals. The clerical steps often vary in type or sequence, depending on the task. Recognized problems are referred to others.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Perform duties, which include routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures. Maintain records and databases, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve problems.
2. May train lower level clerks.
3. May delegate work and oversee completion to ensure on-time delivery.
4. Operate electronic data processing equipment and computer software relative to work being performed.
5. Generate charts, graphs, and reporting documents.
6. Interview vendors representatives, and negotiate purchases with respect to prices, discounts, quality, quantity, and delivery.
7. Direct and perform follow-up work on orders, check goods received to insure vendors compliance and approve bills for payment.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
