Experience should include a minimum of 10 years aircraft avionics, communication and/or defensive management system maintenance and/or aircraft logistics experience
-Requires Top Secret and ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance
-Must be a U.S Citizen
-Strong verbal and written skills
-Must have a basic knowledge of aircraft avionics and systems
-Must be familiar with DoD Acquisition Processes
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access)
-Willingness to travel (Approx 20%)
Job Description: AECOM has an immediate need for a Senior Logistician to work in Beavercreek, OH at Wright Patterson AFB.
Essential Job Functions:
- Plan, manage, and coordinate the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for an avionics and electronic warfare subsystems
- Address Product Support Elements to the sub-system as outlined in AFPAM 63-128
- Have a working knowledge of the benefits and challenges of commercial of the shelf and non-developmental items as they are integrated on to major weapons systems
- Develop and review logistics planning documents, acquisition and product support strategies and plans, supportability assessments, and recommendations for improvement of product support plans
- Review proposals to ensure logistic support element are captured and provide a technical evaluation on the cost and efforts associated with the proposals
- Complete logistics health assessments, logistics self-inspections, unit compliance inspections and complete corrective action plans in support of assigned programs
- Provide support for Source of Repair Assessment Process and Depot Source of Repair decisions and activities
- Forecast the logistics budget for spares and equipment each fiscal year to ensure logistic requirements are captured
- Have a working knowledge of the Air Force Technical Order process and experience with technical reviews
