This certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on-line through the AECOM Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee Job Description: AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for immediate employment for the Oakland, CA office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: Practice leader in water engineering with primary focus on water infrastructure. Responsible for supporting and developing the business line. Projects include: pipelines, pump stations, water resources, water treatment, wastewater treatment, collections, storage, conveyance, distribution, hydraulics, hydrology, groundwater, reclaimed water, storm water, modeling, planning, design, operations and maintenance. Duties include marketing, technical support, project development and project management. Incumbent responsibilities: Marketing • Prepare marketing plans • Identify opportunities, • Assist with preparation of proposals • Attend interviews Technical • Prepare/review calculations, design criteria, technical memorandums, research, and attend meetings to discuss and present findings/recommendations to clients • Prepare contract documents: plans, specifications, cost estimates and schedules • Construction support to clients Project Development • Support clients through the full project life cycle: planning/design/construction/operation • Prepare facility evaluations, alternative analysis, cost estimates, drawings, specifications, bid and construction support Project Management • Maintain project budget and schedule • Manage multi-disciplined project teams and sub-consultants AECOM is a premier, fully integrated professional and technical services firm positioned to design, build, finance and operate infrastructure assets around the world for public- and private-sector clients.
