URS Corporation, an AECOM company, is seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to support our Chantilly, Virginia office.
This is an experienced level position that works as a member of the Strategic Pricing team to pursue and capture new business. Under general supervision from senior pricing personnel, support activities associated with the strategic and competitive pricing.
Essential Responsibilities include:
1. Price Task Orders and Full and Open deals of moderate size and complexity using common template.
2. Create and manage the Cost Volume for assigned deals, with minimal supervision.
3. Assist with Price To Win activities.
4. Contribute to pricing strategies.
5. Create excel models to support pricing requirements.
6. Support senior pricing personnel in conducting pricing strategy meetings, pricing analysis and competitive pricing activities.
7. Interface with Operations, Business Development, and Functional Support groups to obtain/develop data necessary for developing prices or other components in support of competitive analysis.
8. Support senior pricing personnel in the development of cost/price proposals. Support involves cost model development, cost narrative writing and assistance with other cost/price volume requirements.
9. Ensure cost/price proposals are developed in accordance with the Company Pricing Guide and other policies and procedures.
10. Support senior pricing personnel in conducting internal proposal reviews (Pink/Red Teams, Sign Offs, etc.).
11. Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure that cost/price proposal components are accurate and responsive to solicitation requirements.
12. Conduct research and analysis of awarded contracts and other publically available information on Federal opportunities and the Federal Market.
13. Shows initiative and can take on small projects that benefit the team.
14. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
