More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Program, Cost, Consultancy** We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public\- and private\-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States\. **Job Summary** The role of Assistant Project Manager is to provide project management support to senior project managers delivering construction projects for a diverse range of clients\. Strong project management capabilities and good oral and written communication skills are essential for success in this role\. Working within the team alongside senior project managers, you will help deliver the PM services efficiently and effectively\. **Minimum Requirements** Key Responsibilities • Work closely with the client, stakeholders, consultants and contractors, attending to day\-to\-day project management activities • Coordinate interaction with clients and stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are met and relationships are maintained • Develop brief, tender and contract documents in consultation with the senior project managers • Coordinate tender processes • Provide day\-to\-day management of consultants and contractors, ensuring they are delivering their scope of services, performing as expected and meeting deadlines • Administer consultant and construction contracts • Assess consultant and contractor payment claims, variations, extension of time claims and work orders and issue site instructions • Assist with the development and maintenance of project programs, change schedules, risk registers and issues registers • Develop and update project plans and reports, including risk reports, project reports, governance papers, executive reports and monthly look\-ahead reports • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes • Contribute to the writing and development of AECOM proposals and submissions **Preferred Qualifications** Ideally you will have: • Demonstrated experience in project management with proven skills in delivering project outcomes within specific timeframes • Demonstrated experience working as part of a project team on multimillion dollar projects • Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to develop comprehensive reports • Proven ability to develop effective working relationships and networks with a wide range of stakeholders and utilise judgement, tact and discretion in the resolution of complex and sensitive issues • Relevant qualifications, such as project management, construction management, architectural, engineering or another related field **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
