2. 3 years of experience as a Residential or Commercial Painter.
3. Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience as a painter in a large office setting.
2. Experience repairing drywall.
3. Experience building and utilizing scaffolding.
4. Experience hanging and patching wallpaper.
5. Experience taping off trim.
6. Experience trimming out a room, or cutting in edges.
Additional Information:

• This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.
• This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.

• Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
• Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
• Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
• Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.
• Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.
• Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.
• Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.
• Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
• Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
• Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
Special Requirements:
• Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
• Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
Job Description: URS, an AECOM company, is seeking 2nd shift casual status Painters in East Peoria, IL! Typical work hours are 3:30pm – 11:00pm; hours may vary based on business demand.
Candidates must be flexible. Individuals hired into these positions work on a “casual status” basis, which does not guarantee a minimum number of work hours and provides limited medical benefits.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: interior prepping, painting and finishing of office spaces, hallways, rest rooms, closets, meeting rooms, floors, tour paths, equipment rooms, etc. May require some dry wall patching and mudding, and some wall papering or patching. Must be meticulous and produce high quality work. These responsibilities will carry over to multiple facilities.
