The successful candidate will work with all members of the Water Resources Department on a wide variety of water resource projects. Under the direction of a Project Engineer, the candidate will be assigned various design tasks, and working with the larger group, perform engineering studies or create construction plans, specifications, and estimates. Daily interaction with the design team is anticipated. Water resources projects are highly interactive, requiring coordination with other engineering disciplines and frequent client interaction. This position will report to a project engineer, who in turn reports to an overall project manager. Incumbent responsibilities: • Investigate, develop and model water resources projects. • Conduct and support field investigations • Conduct water resource planning and engineering analyses • Perform engineering studies • Prepare reports and design documentation • Undertake and contribute to technical aspects of water resources planning studies • Participate in teams involved with project delivery through all phases of project execution The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed above.
