**Job Summary** AECOM's DCS Americas Marketing team is seeking a temporary proposal and marketing professional who can lead the proposal process in a fast pace deadline driven environment\. This is a high visibility position within AECOM and requires strong communication and interpersonal skill\.
This position is expected to last for three months and there is the possibility of converting to a full\-time position after that time\.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Supports, coordinates and assists in moderately complex marketing and graphic activities under some supervision
+ Participates in the development of business proposals, presentations and printed qualification materials working under supervision
+ Works with different individuals in the department and with consulting staff to gain exposure to various business line and market expertise
+ Provides updates to supervisor on assigned marketing activities
+ Produce proposals, or sections of large proposals, independently
+ Participates in proposal team meetings
+ Creates tailored project descriptions and new content to showcase our differentiators
+ Creates and produces documents in MS Office Suite or ADOBE Creative Suite which includes Photoshop, InDesign and other applications
+ Maintains basic information \(opportunities, projects\) in Salesforce\.com; may be asked to create Salesforce reports
+ May coordinate client\-facing or reputation\-building events
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
+ A minimum of 5 years of related marketing proposal experience
+ Ability to convey information, either verbally or non\-verbally, through the exchange of thoughts or messages for the purpose of ensuring shared understanding
+ Ability to pick out and synthesize important information and ask appropriate questions to clarify potential and existing issues and problems
+ Ability to maximize resources and use schedules for the planning and reporting of progress within the project environment
+ Ability to look at issues from both a broad and detailed perspective, locating errors and logical inconsistencies in cross\-disciplinary work
+ Ability to devise strategies and build visual solutions that excite the AECOM client and clearly connect to the clients’ needs
Proficient in MS Office Suite
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ A minimum of 2 years proposal experience in an engineering/architectural firm is strongly preferred
+ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, in particular, InDesign is desirable
+ Association of Proposal Management Professionals \(APMP\) is a plus
