Requisition Number: IE103720 Interest Category: Business Operations/Admin/IT Interest Sub Category: Marketing/ Communications/ Public Relations Job Title : Project Manager Employment Category/Status: full-time Type of Position: Regular Hire Country: U.S. State: Delaware City: Wilmington Minimum Requirements: • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field • Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in Transportation Demand Management outreach, and/or office and sales team management • Must complete the AECOM Project Manager program within six months of hire • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Demonstrated sales management experience and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills and experience in handling multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner • Reliable (automobile) transportation is required for frequent local travel; mileage expenditures are reimbursed at the current federally allowable rate • Must have current valid driver’s license • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test Job Description: In this position, you will be the key leader and manager of the project team, working to promote alternative transportation mode use throughout a designated geographic region, through regional and local strategy development and implementation of commuter-related services at large and medium-sized employer worksites. Additional responsibilities will include project financial management and oversight, in addition to customized program development and ongoing service delivery relating to improving traffic congestion and air quality. Responsible for managing the project operations, including but not limited to: • Maintain ultimate responsibility for activities and achievements of the outreach staff, including achievement of program goals and contract objectives • Lead and mentor the project team by example, by assisting with the conduct of outreach/employer-based program presentations for employers, business associations, civic associations, local government agencies, and others • Assist with review of resumes and interviews for program team members • Conduct training for new employer outreach managers and outreach coordinators • Maintain ultimate responsibility for the successful achievement of all project/ contract deliverables to the client(s)’s satisfaction, on schedule and within budget parameters • Deliver regular reports to the client and key stakeholders as may be required or requested, including but not limited to (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports on program progress, including presentations of project activities underway • Give local presentations related to employer outreach, including those to local elected officials, business organizations (e.g., Rotary, Chambers), and industry trade associations (e.g., SHRM) • Serve as the team’s communications lead with the client (s), key stakeholders, and elected officials AECOM is a premier, fully integrated professional and technical services firm positioned to design, build, finance and operate infrastructure assets around the world for public- and private-sector clients.
