**About the Business Line** **Architecture**

**Job Summary** The successful candidate will lead AECOM’s strategic business development efforts in the Corporate/Commercial sector of the LA Metro area\. The successful candidate must have demonstrated skills in business development strategy, negotiating teaming arrangements \(internal and external\), and the ability to competitively position for complex project types in the Corporate/Commercial sector with a proven record of success in developing and executing growth strategies and approaches for client targets\. The candidate should be high energy, outgoing and self\-motivated while having the acumen and patience to drive a multifunctional team through a consultative selling process\.
The role is devoted to cultivating and consummating qualified opportunities in collaboration with Architectural and Interiors leadership to develop and execute business strategies for the Corporate/Commercial sector with responsibility for identifying, qualifying, and closing on those with the highest potential to generate revenue and profitability\.
Primary responsibilities for this position:
+ Expand AECOM’s network of contacts and increase visibility of AECOM in the LA Metro Corporate/Commercial sector
+ Develop strategic, solution\-oriented sales approach specific to customer market requirements
+ Build and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecast associated with substantiated opportunities
+ Interact with professional staff to collaboratively address strategic opportunities in a coordinated fashion
+ Prepare and facilitate presentations, RFQ, RFP, and highly complex proposal responses
Identify and lead a coordinated, multidisciplinary team to
+ pursue all aspects of the client relationship in collaboration with AECOM leadership
+ Identify and leverage key industry and technical resources to deploy on new opportunities
+ Drive overall expansion and penetration of priority clients and targets while retaining on\-going engagements
+ Create and implement strategic plans and business strategies
+ Understand and communicate AECOM’s multiple service and practice offering
+ Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with clients and prospects that result in new revenue growth and a positive, healthy relationship with AECOM
+ Maintain and report complete, accurate , and timely records of all individual activities via Salesforce\.com database
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Proven track record in A/E related, solutions\-based sales
+ Solid network of Corporate/Commercial contacts and customers that can be leveraged to AECOM’s benefit
+ Effective communication and presentation skills
+ Strong inter\-personal and collaborative skills
+ A professional attitude and approach with personal charisma
+ Ability to gain access and effectively interact at high levels within client organizations
Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Sales Force, and Database Development\. Publishing and media software production capability in Photoshop, Quark, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign
**Preferred Qualifications** 12 years of experience in corporate commercial sector in LA Metro area\.
