A minimum of one year of related general experience and/or training including demonstrated knowledge. Specific experience of one year minimum is required of the type noted in Specific Skills, Knowledge and Abilities.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience (at the rate of one year experience for one year of education). Technical or military training may be used in lieu of education Training in supply or distribution and use of material handling equipment.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Work is performed in a shop environment, while performing duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision required by this job includes close, distance, peripheral, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions and moderate noise and must wear appropriate protective equipment.

Job Description: Purpose and Scope:
Responsible for overall supply operations at work site level including receiving, storage, requisitioning, issue and accountability of all items required in support of work site maintenance effort. Supervised by Site Manager or site Supply Technician.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. .
2. May be assigned to receiving, shipping, storage or issue areas.
3. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and shelves by hand or through use of MHE.
4. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
5. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet as required.
6. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
7. Loads truck for Industrial Truck Operator.
8. Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
9. Lifts objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
10. Will drive light truck as needed and perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
