**Job Summary**
AECOM's Business Unit Leader for the North West is recruiting for a Personal Assistant\.
The Manchester office is a large multidisciplinary office, next to the bustling Piccadilly gardens\. With its central location, it is only 10 minutes from the national rail station, and 10 minute walk away from the city centre\. Along with its thriving sports and social club it is a friendly, busy and lively office\. The Buildings and Places team, the candidate will be working with, get involved in local and national projects\. In terms of Building and Places, it is the hub office in the North of England\. The successful candidate will be work within a team of 100 staff responsible for a trainee administrator\.
As PA your day to day duties will include:
· Providing exclusive support to the Head of Department
· Working on Excel spreadsheets to gather and investigate commercial data
· Typing and formatting of large report documents
· Collation, typing and formatting of tender and bid documents
· Diary management
· Client liaison to organise meetings, collect bid documents and fact finding
· Taking of minutes at team meetings
· Making travel and accommodation arrangements
Ideally you will have proven experience as a PA to senior management/department head\. The nature of the role demands a highly organised and flexible person\.
**Minimum Requirements** You will be able to:
·Demonstrate proven organisational, secretarial and administration experience
·Handle sensitive or confidential issues with discretion
·Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, working to consistently high standards
·Devise new approaches to problems, offering recommendations and implementing innovative approaches
·Independently perform assignments with little or no oversight
·Interpret, coordinate and execute complex assignments
·Perform diverse and advanced secretarial, clerical and administrative duties
·Proactive and tenacious character
