**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** The Water Group of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Civil and Mechanical Drafter for immediate employment in Overland Park, Kansas\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
+ Under direct supervision, provides simple drafting services by preparing and maintaining civil, mechanical and piping 3D drafting and design of mid\-level to complex designs/layouts\.
+ Under direct supervision, prepare designs from general instruction and/or preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics\.
+ Assist with complex technical drawings and piping isometrics\.
+ Coordinate CAD projects with other discipline personnel\.
+ Assist with preparation and assembly of design project deliverables\.
+ Responsible for updating CAD files from field redline markups per client drafting standards\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ High school diploma, plus vocational courses or Associate's degree
+ 2 years drafting and CAD with emphasis on civil discipline
+ Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation; Geopak or inRoads
+ Valid driver’s license required
