Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: BS Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Physics, or Mathematics and at least 3 years of job-related experience. Equivalent military training and work experience may be considered. Working knowledge of software application programs (e.g., MS Word/Excel, Explorer). Good communication and analytical skills. Travel up to 25%. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Job Description: Work Experience Desired: Job-related experience with Radiation Hazard (RADHAZ) programs of HERO and HERP, Radar Systems, Communication Systems, Ordnance, EM Field Measurements and Testing. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Shipboard and DoD Shore Installations. Lifting up to 50 pounds; climbing inclined ladders; regular handling, grasping, kneeling and carrying, and constant use of vision and mental alertness. Position Description: AECOM is seeking an RF Survey Engineer to conduct site visits to perform electromagnetic environment (EME) assessments of ship and shore installations for radiation hazards to ordnance, personnel, and fuel. Position involves measuring and analyzing EMEs and producing technical reports providing results, conclusions, and recommendations for operating safely in the EME.
