**Job Summary** The Transportation Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Inspector for immediate employment in Brooklyn, NY\. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Transportation\.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
+ Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
+ Performs daily field inspections
+ Maintains inspection records
+ Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning
+ Tracks quality assurance progress
+ Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers\. Inspects construction progress which may include ensuring procedures and materials comply with specifications; observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship
+ Review contract plans and specifications for compliance with appropriate building codes and project requirements
+ Observe work for compliance with contract documents, reviewing and responding to shop drawing submittals, responding to request for information, clarifications, proposals, and change orders
+ Assist with review and reconciliation of construction schedules
+ Schedule updates and contractor payments
+ Observe testing and review test results for conformance with technical specifications, confirming quantities for pay applications, and assisting with verification of project completion milestones and contract closeout/commissioning
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Minimum 4 years of experience
+ NICEIV certification
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
