**Job Summary** AECOM has an exciting opportunity as an **MHE Operator** in Afghanistan on the MOSC\-A contract\. The Operator is responsible for receiving, storing and shipping merchandise kept in warehouses\. Loads or unloads merchandise after its receipt or prior to shipment\. Keeps records of goods entering and leaving the warehouse\. Conducts warehouse maintenance and helps cleaning crews ensure that industry sanitation and safety codes are followed\. Handles all inbound and outbound warehouse goods and materials\. Tags, labels, and stocks all warehouse supplies\. Efficiently completes all activities delegated by the warehouse supervisor\. Loads and unloads forklifts and other warehouse machinery and equipment\. Maintains tidiness and cleanliness standards of the warehouse\. Organizes the stocking and proper storage of goods and materials\. Coordinates all work functions with co\-workers, transporters and other organizational departments\. Maintains cycle count of all warehouse inventories and reports discrepancies to the supervisor\. Conducts regular checks and maintenance functions on all warehouse machinery, such as forklifts\. Performs other duties as assigned\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ 1\-3 years experience operating MHE equipment required\.
+ 1 year experience in warehouse, supply, inventory control or related field required\.
+ Must be able to work at a rapid pace to meet shipping and receiving deadlines\.
+ Must be able to lift, bend or stand for long periods of time\.
+ Must have good record\-keeping skills and attention to detail\.
+ Must be able to operate heavy\-lifting machinery such as forklifts and cranes\.
+ Must have strong organizational and planning skills\.
+ Must have basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and other related applications\.
+ Must be able to use various kinds of freight software and label matrix programs\.
+ Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills, through demonstrated proficiency, testing or both\.
+ Valid driver’s license required\.
+ Must be able to obtain a 5984\-E Army Standard license
+ \.Active NACI required for this position
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred\.
+ Proof of prior forklift training preferred\.
