More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Water** We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\. **Job Summary** The Water Resources department of AECOM is actively seeking an experienced, highly talented Water Resources Engineer for immediate employment in the Salt Lake City, Utah office\. The successful candidate must demonstrate an established career in Water Resources and periphery Civil Engineering experience that showcases steadily increasing responsibility, and the ability to manage a driven interdisciplinary team to complete projects within both time and budget constraints\. The job will include working with and developing clients from both the public and private sectors to provide civil engineering services including landfill design, earthen embankment design, spillway analysis and design, dam break scenarios, hydrologic analysis and hydraulic design of surface water collection systems as well as design of riverine grade control structures and rock slope protection\. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Preparing calculations and design reports + Assisting in preparing schedule and budget requirements + Interacting with clients to gather information and discuss project requirements + Interacting with multidiscipline and multi\- office teams within AECOM **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's degree + 5\+ years of experience + A history of successful client and working relationships + Ability to manage multidisciplinary group of engineers and scientists working to complete fast paced projects + Concise and effective written communication skills in the form of daily reporting, project technical memoranda and reports + Experience with earth embankments, earth work, and the preparation of construction documents + A knowledge of the local and regional hydrologic and hydraulic methods accepted by state and federal agencies + Experience with Civil site design, hydrologic analysis, hydraulic analysis and design, concrete structures, earthwork, cost estimating, project specifications, and project management + Registered Professional Engineer **Preferred Qualifications** + Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Utah or the ability to achieve the State licensing within six months of employment + Capable of managing projects with a diverse team including structural, environmental, and geotechnical engineers + Experience with reinforced concrete structure design + Earthen embankment design, experience with levees, dams and landfill deign + Experience with construction management + Capable of creating plans, specifications and estimates for private and public clients + Design and modeling skill set should include industry standard H&H software as well as familiarity with CADD software **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
