**Job Summary**
Our Cambridge Cost Management Business Unit continues to grow, with specific growth demand within the Health sector where we have successfully secured positions with many high profile clients and some key local projects and programs in the industry\. As a direct result of this growth, we are currently seeking a full time Associate with the following requirements\.
The Associate will be working alongside a Director to successfully manage and deliver various capital projects across the Cambridge and Anglia region\. The role would cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case development estimates, through the design / procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase\.
As the Associate you should possess the skills and experience to actively support and manage their own internal team and manage more junior staff on a technically complex project between typically £5m to £50m\.
You will help develop collaborative relationships with our clients and other professional colleagues within the industry\. You will be the day to day main client point of contact for projects\. You will successfully deliver projects with minimum supervision, leading to further repeat clients and their business\. Manage and mentor junior staff to deliver our Cost Management service efficiently and effectively\. Develop and build good Client and business connections that would enhance our current broad portfolio of work\.
**Minimum Requirements**
As Associate Project Surveyor you will ideally possess the following skills:
Strong experience of delivering projects in the Health sector\.
Proven track record of delivering technically complex construction projects from inception to completion Experience of working in another comparable consultancy environment, or with a client organisation\.
Good understanding of project governance and procurement processes\.
Ability to develop long term relationships with all team members, and effectively balance people and processes\. Previous experience of managing internal resources, including the training and mentoring of more junior staff members\.
Well developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills are key\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Professional Qualified – Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree
+ Good understanding of contracts \(in particular NEC3\)Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution
+ CSCS card
