Come share your passion with us\. **About the Business Line** **Government** AECOM’s Global Support Services \(GSS\) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs\. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\. **Job Summary** The Project Branch Manager directs , supervises , manages , and controls all activities related to the Customer Funded Construction performed on the FRAME O&M Contract\. Monitors methods and procedures employed to ensure conformance with contract policies and government regulations\. Interpret directives, technical orders, and construction policies for assigned supervisory personnel\. Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures \(SOPs\)\. Establish procedures and programs for increased operations effectiveness\. Implement procedures that maintain project schedules and budgets\. Coordinates and establishes work priorities and schedules\. Provides oversight for in\-house facility construction and renovation projects in a large Government facility\. Responsibilities to include: + Supervise the Project Management Team in the performance of their duties to plan ,schedule, and coordinate projects to repair, alter and renovated building structure and installed equipment\. + Direct the Furniture Coordinator and team to determine installation schedules\. + Attend weekly status meeting with FS Construction Branch\. + Establish Standard Operating Procedures\. + Implement policies and procedures\. + Coordinate and control the work , acting through the project management team\. + Determine personnel and subcontractor requirements for contract construction programs\. + Establish Quality Control Standards for end products\. + Promote Safety and Security AwPrareness\. + Perform Quality Assurance and Safety activities for all construction projects\. + Conduct unannounced quality and safety inspections on a regular basis\. + Ensure all functions are in accordance with operational plans for safety, fire prevention, emergency evacuation, and mishaps\. + Ensure all functions are in accordance with operational plans for building design, maintenance, and construction\. + Plan and forecast future construction resource requirements and future maintenance requirements\. + Evaluate subordinate personnel and initiate and approve all personnel actions\. + Submit requested reports as required by client/management\. + Review ongoing costs to ensure operations are accomplished within assigned budget\. + Provide technical guidance to resolve construction problems\. + Coordinate design changes with architect and engineers\. + Provide as\-built AutoCAD drawings for completed projects\. + Provide input for long\-range planning\. + Develop and manage special studies and projects\. + Manages Tiger Team staff\. + Plan, coordinate and oversee all travel arrangements for OCONUS personnel\. + Perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager\. **Minimum Requirements** + 8\-10 years in the construction management environment Experience in managing a multi\-discipline union work staff\. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required\. + High School, vocational school, or trade school diploma or equivalent \. + Technical school or college \- level course work in construction project management is desirable\. Journeyman's certificate from the State of VA \. , MD \. , or D\.C \. , a carpenter, electrician, plumber, HVAC mechanic, or other similar qualification, preferred\. + Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license\. Must be able to speak, read , write , and understand the English language\. + Must be a U \. S\. Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance\. **Preferred Qualifications** + OCONUS travel work experience\. + Familiar with SCIF standards and protocol\. + A degree in engineering preferred\. + Knowledge of Microsoft Project desired + Knowledge of computer \- based facilities management software\. + Journeyman's certificate from the State of VA \. , MD\., or D \.
