More information on AECOM and its services can be found at ;www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Program, Cost, Consultancy** We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public\- and private\-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States\. **Job Summary** AECOM are looking for a Consultant to join their established Programme & Project Controls team in London\. Job responsibilities will include: •Assisting with the development of and implementing best practice project controls policy, processes and procedures •Developing the Work Breakdown Structures \(WBS\) and mapping of the Cost Breakdown Structure \(CBS\) dictionaries for budget loading of schedules and Earned Value Management •Development and implementation of project specific processes to ensure planning/scheduling/cost control/change management and reporting meets the project / business requirements •Management and development of individuals and teams within the project controls function •Project performance management using Earned Value Management \(EVM\) •Extensive reporting especially at senior management level •Building rapport with discipline leads and setting up progress update information flow from relevant delivery staff •Management of project trend and change management •Provide timely variance analysis and early warning to management on critical activities •Provide timely and accurate cost and schedule forecasting •Actively contribute to the risk management process •Management of sub contractor information •Developing and managing a database to capture and identify work rate/productivity norms and trends, earned value and performance indicators •May be required to travel/work at off\-site facilities in various UK and international locations for reasonable periods of time **Minimum Requirements** •Demonstrable, client\-facing Project Controls experience \- the ability to provide first rate Programme & Project Controls services to national and international blue\-chip clients •Collaborative professional \- Work closely with Project Controls and Project Management colleagues to provide a seamless delivery service •Stakeholder management \- Maintain, enhance and develop client relationships to their benefit and that of AECOM •Systems knowledge \- Demonstrable experience of the daily use of Planning software \(i\.e\. Primavera P6, MSP, Artemis, ASTA\) to deliver an integrated project controls offer •Industry knowledge \- good periods of Planning / Project Controls exposure to one of the following market sectors: Rail infrastructure, Power Generation or T&D, Nuclear, Defence and Government, Heavy Civils, Construction, Airports or Aviation and M&E **Preferred Qualifications** •Not less than a Bachelor’s degree or HND in a technical discipline, such as engineering, business applied sciences or equivalent •Practitioner qualification in PMI, PRINCE2 or Managing Successful Programmes \(MSP\) is desirable but not essential •Evidence of systems implementation and integration **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
