**Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Economist for immediate employment for the Los Angeles, CA office\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\.The selected candidate will join AECOM’s Economics team within the Economics \+ Planning practice\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
+ Manage internal and external teams
+ Complete complex real estate and economic assignments including pro forma analysis for a range of land uses, market feasibility research, and fiscal and economic impact studies
+ Review and present client deliverables including memos, reports and PowerPoint presentations
+ Support the firm’s business development efforts
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in a related field
+ Minimum 10 years work experience in real estate economics, market research, development, economic development and/or consulting in a related field
+ Excellent analytical and writing skills
+ Previous education and/or professional background in business, urban and real estate economics, or urban planning
+ Bring an interest in creative solution as well as a significant capacity for leadership
+ Comfortable navigating and thriving in a multi\-disciplinary work environment
+ Possess substantial project management experience, excellent presentation skills, and supervisory capabilities
+ Be a highly motivated independent thinker with sufficient poise for direct client interaction
+ Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master’s Degree, preferably in real estate, business, or city planning
+ Previous project management for consulting engagements in a relevant field
+ Experience with financial and economic modeling
+ Experience with private and public clients
+ Experience with other quantitative/mapping programs is desirable, including GIS and IMPLAN
