In a small team environment, the wellness coordinator assists in the day to day operations of the Fitness Center, including but not limited to, various fitness courses such as Yoga, Spinning, Power lunch, Maxx pain, Mid Day Walk and 15 minutes to fit, personal training, safe lifting classes and consultations. Also responsible for teaching First Aid/CPR/AED at least quarterly or as requested. Provides ergonomic evaluation support in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, plans, policies and procedures. Ensures ergonomic evaluation results are entered into database as well as providing reports as requested by DOE. Assists in assessment of program in terms of regulatory compliance and best practices. Prepares reports as requested, makes recommendations for improvements. Keeps abreast of current developments in Fitness and Wellness issues and any associated laws and regulations if any. Documents employee visits to the wellness center, attendance at each class/program weekly and monthly. Reports injuries that occurs in the wellness center as required by the company, State and Federal regulations. Participates in, conducts and documents periodic inspections and site tours. Works closely with the OHU for wellness or ergonomic issues. Participates in employee training, emergency preparedness and ensures the quality of programs.
