**About the Business Line** **Energy**
We address the complete spectrum of energy challenges, including clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon management, hydropower and dams, thermal, geothermal and wind power generation, and transmission and distribution\.
**Job Summary** AECOM is currently seeking a Senior Power Engineering Manager to manage the New England Power business unit to be based in our Chelmsford, Boston, or Rocky Hill, CT office\. Responsibilities will include development of new business in the Power market, management of projects, oversight of staff, and P&L management of the New England Power group\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ A minimum of a BS/M\.S\. in an engineering field, electrical preferred\.
+ 15\-20\+ years of experience in the power/transmission/substation industry\.
+ Must be self\-motivated
+ Excellent technical writing
+ Strong interpersonal communication skills
+ Demonstrated project / staff management experience
+ Ability to execute projects of all sizes and build project teams collaboratively around multidisciplinary projects required\.
**Preferred Qualifications** The preferred candidate should be well versed in the New England/Northeast power and electric transmission market and be familiar with the major utility clients throughout all of New England\.
