Our design process is based on energy\-efficient building systems, and appropriate selection of materials and form to maximize environmental conditions and long\-term performance\. **Job Summary** Our Los Angeles Buildings \+ Places Studio is a multi\-disciplinary design practice featuring professionals in Urban Design, Master Planning, Architecture, Interiors, Landscape Architecture, and Economics\. Our projects vary widely in size, type, scope and complexity, and often draw on collaborations with other disciplines within the AECOM family such as Transportation, Energy, Water, and Building Engineering\. These cross\-disciplinary collaborations create a unique and unparalleled environment for learning about and shaping the built world\. We are looking for a student who wants to apply their passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive work environment\. The intern will be responsible for working with project design leads on conceptual and schematic design packages, and supporting competition entries\. This person will provide a variety of support to design related pursuits in the Architecture Studio \(dependent on skill set and experience\), including but not limited to, 3D modeling, Visualization, Drawing \(CAD\), Diagramming, Publication Layout, CG Animation, Video, Photography, Physical Model Making, Web Optimization, Organizing, etc\. **Minimum Requirements** + Fluidity with 3D modeling – form, material, lighting \(Sketchup, 3ds Max, Rhino & Grasshopper required\. Others a plus\) + Rendering experience –pre and post \(V\-Ray and/or Maxwell\) + Strong two dimensional graphics skills using Adobe CS + AutoCAD 2010 or later + Strong design & planning sensibilities with excellent presentation skills\. + Applicants should have strong capabilities in 3D modeling, scripting, and architectural visualization\. + Candidate must be able to contribute to a team effort and to work independently\. + Local candidates only please **Preferred Qualifications** + Animation experience \(include a short sample \+/\-30 sec, 30MB max\) + Revit experience **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
