**Job Summary** We're seeking a Business Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, located in Century City\!
As part of the global management of company\-wide Business Intelligence & Forecasting systems, we are looking for a Business Analyst to help drive the tool set to the next level while ensuring the organization is maximizing its current capabilities\. As a member of the Corporate FP&A team and holding a key role in the performance management group, you will be responsible for supporting our Cognos TM1 and Business Intelligence environments through working with both the technical teams and our finance end user community\.
Responsibilities
• Work directly with finance and operations staff in defining needs and documenting requirements
• Administering the Cognos TM1 security model and dimensional maintenance for many of the existing Cognos TM1 Applications
• Support the Development of Applications in Cognos TM1 & Business Intelligence
• Provide End User Support in both Cognos TM1 and Business Intelligence environments\.
• Build out training documentation and provide assistance to users in various data analysis techniques
• Work with newly acquired companies to understand source systems and facilitate rapid integration into companywide data warehouse and BI reporting systems
**Minimum Requirements** • A Degree in Business Related and/or Computer Science related subjects with an interest in Financial Modeling
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional data structures
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with a client service mentality
• Ability to document data requirements
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly
• The role will be based in Los Angeles but may involve some travel
**Preferred Qualifications** • Experience in Cognos TM1 modeling is preferred\.
