Position Description: The successful candidate will perform preventive, corrective and modification maintenance on facility mechanical equipment. Perform a variety of complex mechanical tasks. Perform special and emergency assignments, recognizing urgency and need to complete assignments in a safe and compliant manner. Attain and maintain the qualifications and training necessary to perform field maintenance. Advise management of unusual problems or situations within assigned mechanical maintenance areas and suggest appropriate solutions. Review drawings, procedures and specifications to assure compliance with code requirements. Suggest revisions as necessary. Follow all safety procedures, regulations and policies. Conduct frequent inspections of work area to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained. Promptly report any hazards or unsafe conditions to management. Perform similar and related duties as assigned. Must maintain qualifications and training to perform assigned duties.
