Job Responsibilities/Duties
Responsible for supporting the WRPS Procurement Services organization in the development, preparation, formulation and administration of subcontract and material procurements primarily utilizing the WRPS purchasing card (p-card) program as the procurement method. This individual will work to established policies and procedures for procurement, material management, and document control. They will ensure proper correspondence is developed, p-card transactions are properly documented, and all p-card purchases are tracked through to delivery. Individual may perform procurement research and will be required to distribute and file compliant procurement records. They will be required to utilize computer-driven analytical systems for the purposes of reporting, making comparisons, and forming recommendations. Individual may also support the WRPS procurement organization in the maintenance of the WRPS procurement system including procedures, policies, training, system compliance, and system reporting.
Required Qualifications
BA or BS in Business Administration or related field.
1-3 years of Contracts/Procurement administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good working knowledge of Word and Excel software packages.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of and experience in the Government acquisition and procurement environment.
Knowledge of Procurement procedures and processes.
Good logic and reasoning capabilities; attention to detail.
Knowledge of BMS Asset Suite and P-Card Systems.
Good working knowledge of reporting systems.
Knowledge of Procurement procedures and processes
