**Job Summary** AECOM PM/CM Business Unit Leader \- Facilities for the New York City Metro Area\.
Primary Duties Include:
+ Leads senior PMCM professionals who pursue, win and deliver long term, large business projects and programs; networks with clients as well as within the industry to develop and maintain business relationships\.
+ Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction\.
+ Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under his/her direction on a day\-to\-day basis\.
+ Train, mentor, and develop staff\.
+ Creates and builds client relationships while sponsoring interaction to obtain projects\.
+ Develops and maintains networks of contacts within the industry\.
+ Communicates client knowledge to marketing to aid with strategizing on proposal content to address client concerns\.
+ Makes business decisions with understanding of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve business results and meet established deadlines\.
+ Develops and formulates solutions to client problems on assigned projects\.
+ Partners with management to resolve problem areas in project delivery\. Seeks out new sectors of business by following industry trends\.
+ Develops business for the PM/CM business line in Metro NYC\.
+ Interfaces as necessary with Region Lead, National Market Sector Lead and other business line representatives to put AECOM in the best position to win and deliver work\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Minimum of 15 years experience related to the PM/CM business in the New York City Metro area\.
+ Thorough understanding and experience leading operational groups\.
+ Well versed in market place and competitive environment\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ As a very senior business developer, has a thorough knowledge of client business practices and goals\.
+ Has broad knowledge of the business to support cross\-discipline/business line/region collaboration\.
