Job Description: AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Graduate Water Resources Engineer for immediate employment with the Water Resources Department in the Oakland, CA office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an interest in dams, hydraulic structures, and hydropower. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Assist with a variety of water resources design work including dams, hydraulics structures, and hydropower from conceptual to final design and preparation of plans specifications and engineering design packages
• Assist in the preparation of design calculations and reports related to water resources projects including hydraulics, structural design, and/or mechanical design
• Assist with construction contract administration
