The appropriate qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Environmental Due Diligence, Environmental Remediation, and Environmental Compliance. The incumbent can look forward to projects including site investigations, treatability studies, groundwater monitoring programs, and remediation of hazardous waste sites. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: • Assist a team of scientists and engineers that provide environmental services to public and private sector clients • Travel to project sites to assist with fieldwork (e.g., soil sampling, groundwater sampling, visual site inspections) • Assist with preparation of health and safety plans, work plans, and reports • Perform data review and prepare tables with results for the project team • Report to a Remediation Department team leader, but will work under the supervision of task leaders and Project Managers • Develop reports related to ESAs and environmental remediation projects conducted under the Texas Risk Reduction Program rule, the Railroad Commission of Texas and/or the TCEQ Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank (LPST) program • Develop Health and Safety Plans, Sampling Plans, and Site Investigation Reports • Support projects that may involve NEPA, ecological site assessments, wetlands delineation and biological surveys AECOM is a premier, fully integrated professional and technical services firm positioned to design, build, finance and operate infrastructure assets around the world for public- and private-sector clients.
