Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent. Prefer one or more Network and/or Security related certifications, such as: CISSP, Security+, MSCE with focus on security, etc.
Experience should include a minimum of 1 year specialized security / IA support that includes:
• Tripwire IP360 or Tenable Nessus, and Webinspect
• One or more certifications as follows: CISSP, Security+, MSCE with focus on security
• Ethical hacking training or knowledge
• Knowledge of 800-53
• Demonstrated experience authoring FISMA documentation to include SSPs, Risk Assessments, COOP, DR plans, PIAs and Risk Assessments/Acceptance
• Proven ability to organize and document standard operating procedures (SOPS)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) knowledge
• Excellent trouble shooting and problem resolution skills
• Work independently with initiative and innovation
• Other duties as assigned
• Demonstrated experience keeping track of security deficiencies through documentation of findings and monitoring of remediation’s and validation of closure
• Knowledge of Federal security requirements and experience working in a government agency
• Ability to conduct Security compliance activities as specific in the Information Security Policy to assess compliance with the organizations policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ability to create documentation and network diagrams
• Ability to advise government managers and other executives concerning the overall status of compliance findings and associated remediation plans and exceptions.
Must possess demonstrated technical expertise associated with information systems and network architecture, development, and design in order to review and assess suspected security threats, assist in the development of effective countermeasures to prevent suspected threat,s and remediate effects of actual security breaches.
Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. Perm Resident able to pass required Federal Background Investigation/ Clearance.

This is a great opportunity for someone early-career to work supporting Network Security operations for multiple Federal customers. • Preparing and analyze reports from scans
• Preparing required security documentation
• Supporting securing an enterprise network
