More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Scientist or Hydrogeologist to join our team in either Cork or Dublin\. We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Scientist or Hydrogeologist to join our teams in either Cork or Dublin, this position fulfils part of a team role in delivering ground investigation services to clients\. The position exists to meet a requirement for additional capacity in the URS Cork/Dublin Soil and Groundwater teams\. Its purpose is to provide professional consulting services in relation to soil and groundwater Phase I and II contaminated land assessments and remediation project\. As an Environmental Scientist/Hydrogeologist your main responsibilities will include: • Ensuring that Health and Safety issues are addressed throughout the life of a project; • Completing field\-based ground investigation works; • Coordinating field service subcontractors; • Completing office\-based data management and report preparation; • Coordinating with laboratories to secure appropriate analysis; • Being familiar with URS quality management system and ensure its effective implementation by the team for all projects and proposals\. The following will be required for this role: • An Hydrogeology/Environmental Science/Geology or Environmental Engineering degree or equivalent; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; • A full driving License; • Good understanding of contaminated land assessments; • Excellent report writing skills\.
