Position Description: Perform wide variety of nuclear safety duties: interpret federal and state laws, other regulatory requirements and DOE Orders as they apply to assure practices and procedures are compliant and reporting requirements are met; overview internal and external reviews of nuclear safety programs; follow corrective actions through completion or resolution, prepare related reports, and assure auditable documentation is maintained; address compliance issues from internal and external sources; develop and implement programs, procedures, requirements and policies; evaluate procedures and documentation for effectiveness and compliance with laws and regulations; and participate in internal independent compliance assessments of various Project participants.
