More information on AECOM and its services can be found at ;www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Water** We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\. **Job Summary** We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hydraulic Modeller to join our busy Water Infrastructure Engineering Team in our centrally located Belfast office\. The team brings together the skills of project managers, hydrologists, flood engineers, water scientists, numerical modellers, and environmental and planning specialists to provide integrated, sustainable and cost\-effective solutions\. Activities include; flood defences, dams, water supply and water treatment plants, pumping stations, pipe networks, sewerage, wastewater treatment, and outfalls\. As a Hydraulic Modeller you will assist the Engineering Manager & design team in all aspects of hydraulic modelling, including the following responsibilities: •  Data Analysis and Field Test Planning\. •  Health & Safety Risk Assessments\. •  Coordinating Field Teams\. •  Model Build and Calibration\. •  Scenario Runs \(Peak Day, Water Quality\)\. •  Producing reports and technical documents\. •  Mentoring less experienced members of staff\. •  Progress reporting and client Liaison\. •  Project management, as well as business development client liaison\. •  Undertaking site investigation works\. The closing date for applications is Friday 12th June 2015\. **Minimum Requirements** The following requirements are essential to the role: •  Degree educated or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or similar\. •  Proven commitment to professional development and working towards accreditation with relevant Institution e\.g\.ICE or CIWEM\. •  Prior experience of working within a Hydraulic Modeller role\. •  Ability to use hydraulic modelling software such as InfoWorks WS, EPANET, Aquis\. •  Experience using Geographic Information Systems including Mapinfo and CAD software\. •  Experience in designing water networks and transmission pipelines\. •  Technical knowledge of theory and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects\. •  Computer software literate including MSWord, MSExcel\.
