More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Water** We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\. **Job Summary** Duties & Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following: + Lead a team of electrical engineers and/or perform independently in providing electrical design and design services during construction for large to small water/wastewater facilities or similar industrial facilities + Prepare electrical design documents consisting of technical reports, design memoranda, calculations, evaluations, CAD drawings, specifications and bid documents, and assist during bidding and respond to bidders’ questions + Provide electrical design services during construction such as shop drawing reviews, construction cost estimates, change orders, responses to requests for information or clarification, witnessing factory and field tests, field inspections, preparation of as\-built record drawings and O&M manuals, and assistance during plant startup + Coordinate with utilities, building officials, contractors, equipment manufacturers, other design disciplines, project managers, construction managers, program managers, the client and its representatives + Perform quality reviews of work by peers and project team, and secure quality reviews of own work for all deliverables, per company policies and procedures + Track progress, budgets, schedules and metrics of discipline works in assigned projects\. **Minimum Requirements** + BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university\. + Professional Engineer license in New York and/or New Jersey + 10\+ years related experience\. + Direct experience in electrical design and design services during construction for large water/wastewater facilities or similar industrial facilities, including, but not limited to: medium voltage and low voltage power distribution systems, substations, power transformers, switchgear, power centers, motor control centers, large drives and other types of motor controllers, control panels, panelboards, and auxiliary systems such as lighting, fire alarm, emergency communications, security, data networks, VOIP telephone, intercom, paging, radio communications, lightning protection, grounding, instrumentation and controls\. + Proficiency in computers, office software, AutoCAD, and power system studies including, but not limited to: load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, large motor starting voltage dip, harmonic distortions, and other calculations, using software such as SKM, Paladin Design Base or equivalent\. + Experience in projects with multi\-prime contractors \(NYS Wick’s Law\) and multiple ongoing projects\. **Preferred Qualifications** Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit or BIM **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
