**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** AECOM's Southwest Area is actively seeking an Project Civil Engineer to provide civil engineering and design support for large earth structures including dams, landfills, mining projects, and power projects in our Phoenix, Arizona area office\. This position will involve working with a multi\-disciplinary team of civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, environmental engineers, and geologists all of which work together to develop operational permits for our clients\. We are a successful established multi\-disciplinary team of civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, environmental engineers, and geologists working to conceive, permit, design and construct large projects\.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Provide civil engineering and design support for large earth structures including dams, landfills, mining projects, and power projects
+ Serve as project manager of medium\- and large\-sized design projects and provide geotechnical and/or civil design leadership for existing major projects and clients

**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Related Engineering field
+ Minimum five years to ten years of relevant experience in civil engineering and site design
+ Demonstrate excellent communication skills including technical and proposal writing
+ Experience working with a multi\-disciplinary team of civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, environmental engineers, and geologists
+ Experience in a broad field of civil engineering and knowledge of the reciprocal effects of the work upon other disciplines
+ Civil 3D
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Willingness to participate in business development
+ Willingness to supervise and grow staff
+ Licensed and/or registration as professional engineer is preferred, but not required
