More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Water** We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\. **Job Summary** We are currently seeking a Senior Architect, Technical Leader to lead our growing Architecture team in AECOM’s office in Chelmsford, Massachusetts\. This position will lead the Architectural Practice for our Water Business line as part of our Design Center\. Incumbent will independently evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment in making adaptations and modifications\. Excellent career opportunity\. Key Responsibilities: Develops technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity\. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment\. Oversee the work of less experienced architects and designers\. Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and working drawings, and develops details and edits specifications\. Adapts and modifies design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations\. Serve as a quality control reviewer\. Stay current in codes and technologies appropriate to the architecture discipline\. Ensure conformance with standards, established architectural practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction\. Review shop drawings and Requests for Information \(RFIs\)\. Implement and follow AECOM Quality Management System Procedures\. **Minimum Requirements** Candidate must have 15\+ years of experience and also be a Massachusetts licensed architect\. Candidate must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in architecture \(professional degree\) Five \(5\) plus years supervisory experience Must have experience in design, rendering, and resolving design and technical issues\. Strong AutoCAD 3D skills required BIM skills/experience LEED Accredited Professional status **Preferred Qualifications** Experience using Navisworks would be a plus\. Experience with graphics programs e\.g\.
