Preferred Requirements: • Working knowledge of DOE 0 426.2 and DOE 0 151 .1c, as well as practical emergency management experience is preferred. • Previous WIPP experience Additional Information: • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. • Relocation benefits are available. More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www.aecom.com Position Description: The successful candidate will provide matrixed drill support to the Operations Department and other functional organizations to implement a comprehensive Abnormal Condition (operational) Drill Program in accordance with DOE Order 426.2 Personnel Selection, Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities. Review abnormal response procedures and develop appropriate scenarios and expected response actions by collaborating with subject matter experts in key functional areas. Provide continuing training, perform abnormal condition drills (discussion-based and performance-based) and complete all drill documentation. Maintain an effective interface with the site-level training organization to ensure tracking of drill requirements and qualifications. Develop long-range drill schedules and coordinate participation among appropriate functional organizations. Support site-level emergency management drills and exercises as a controller, evaluator, or facilitator. Serve as a member of the on-call Emergency Response Organization.
