Minimum Requirements: In accordance with Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board technical publication 18 (DDESB TP-18), SUXOS shall have the following:
Minimum 10 years significant experience in all aspects of munitions response actions or range clearance activities, as appropriate for the contracted operation.
Minimum 5 years experience in supervisory positions.
Graduate of an EOD assistant course or an accredited UXO technician training course or military EOD school of the US, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia.
40-hr OSHA HAZWOPER training course completed and a valid driver's license is required.
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
Job Description: Field assignments may be CONUS/OCONUS. In addition to being able to fully perform all of the UXOTI, UXOTII, and UXOTIII responsibilities in accordance with Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board technical publication 18 (DDESB TP-18), a Senior UXO Supervisor's responsibilities may include the following:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all explosives operations. Supervise multiple teams. Assist in development of munitions response plans. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated above.
