Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** We currently an opportunity for an Air Quality Technician in our Wimbledon office\.

At the core of our Resources & Industry business, the Environment business line's 4,400 talented environmental professionals provide environmental solutions for private and public clients around the world\. We offer environmental management services that meet client needs for feasibility, impact analysis, and operational compliance as well as remediation, restoration and reuse of impacted property\.
Our team of air quality specialists deliver a range of exciting and varied projects across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region\. We work in in multi\-disciplinary teams delivering solutions to a broad base of client sectors including development, energy, oil and gas, water, government and transportation\. The team now numbers over 30 full\-time air quality specialists in the UK with over 500 practitioners worldwide\.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual keen to work within an established team in our Wimbledon office\. Duties will include assisting with the preparation and setting out of air quality measurement equipment, undertaking measurements, downloading and analysing data and writing reports\. Duties would also include organising monitoring equipment and assisting with a range of office based work\. You may also be required to help with noise and vibration measurements at times since the air quality team and acoustics team work closely together\.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to follow instructions appropriate to a task\. We are looking for someone who is well\-organized and detail oriented, and who can effectively manage their time\. Ideally they will have good numerical and report writing skills\. We would expect proficiency in personal computer applications, to include Microsoft Word and Excel, with skills in PowerPoint and / or Access, GIS and computer programming an advantage\.
The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to undertake out of hours work on occasion and be away from home for short periods of time\.
Training will be provided internally and there would be also be opportunities for external training towards a recognised qualification\.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ Degree level in a numerical science \(physics, chemistry, meteorology\)\. We may consider environmental sciences these subjects have been considered\.
+ Candidates with a keen interest in air quality eg atmospheric sciences, air pollution management, climatology will also be considered
+ Able to demonstrate an ability to learn, understand or have knowledge of the air quality / acoustics outlook
+ Enthusiastic with excellent report writing skills and strong attention to detail\.
+ Ability to work well in a team, be practical and take responsibility for running the monitoring when on\-site\.
+ Full, clean driving licence
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Awareness of GIS, modelling or programming skills would be advantageous as would previous work experience\.
