Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical related field
• Eight years of QA experience or related functions
• Must have the ability to prepare and deliver oral presentations to internal and external groups, including regulatory agencies and public officials, to convey quality assurance information in a tactful, clear, and concise manner.
• Must have the ability to write clear and organized memos, reports, and other documents that effectively communicate ideas, problems, solutions, and status of projects.
• Must have strong interface skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
• Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Preferred Requirements:
• Experience at a DOE facility or in commercial nuclear power is preferred.
• Direct experience with the Waste Acceptance Plan, Waste Acceptance Criteria, familiarity with software QA programs, knowledge of Environmental Protection Agency Standards and Environmental Programs is a plus.
• Previous WIPP experience

Position Description:
The successful candidate will be required to qualify as a NQ -1 Lead Auditor and perform audits, reviews, surveillances, and program level studies as required. Will be responsible for developing checklists, assessment plans, and assessment reports based on upper tier requirements. Duties will also include, but are not
limited to: QA review of procurement documents and review of procedures and other work control documents for compliance with the applicable QA Program requirements. May act as a technical expert in areas where previous experience and/or education are related to QA needs.
