Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
1. High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
2. Five years of experience as a crane maintenance specialist in an industrial manufacturing environment, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Associate’s degree in a related skilled trade.
2. Experience troubleshooting and repairing 480V 3 phase.
3. Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical/mechanical issues on cranes and hoists.
4. Experience troubleshooting and repairing VFDs.
5. Experience troubleshooting and repairing Allen Bradley PLCs.
6. Experience using Allen Bradley RS Logix Software

Physical Requirements:
• Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
• Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
• Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.
• Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.
• Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.
• Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.
• Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
• Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
• Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
Special Requirements:
• Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
• Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
Job Description: URS, an AECOM company, is seeking a 1st shift Crane Maintenance Technician IV in downtown Peoria, IL! Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday; hours may vary based on business demand.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, electrical/mechanical repairs on facilities related equipment, performing electrical/mechanical preventive maintenance and inspection of cranes and hoists, performing PM’s on facilities related equipment such as cranes, conveyors, roof top units, etc.
This position is primarily a 1st shift position that supports a 24/7 operation. This position works at heights up to 50 feet.
Responsibilities:
• Performs repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on buildings and facilities equipment, fixtures, and systems.
• Operates aerial and platform lifts.
• Reads and understands schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Demonstrates solid understanding of Lock Out Tag Out practices and procedures.
• Operates a PC with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
