We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\. **Job Summary** AECOM are currently seeking an experienced Senior Architect to be based in Abu Dhabi on a prestigious project\. The incumbent will oversee all technical development and improvement of the Architectural discipline on the projects at construction stage, as well as the managing of site based architects in the UAE region\. This will involve leading and managing the architectural scope on projects involving commercial, industrial or residential buildings reach completion\. This position will be site based working on one or more projects, depending on size across the UAE region, consulting with clients regularly, as well as liaising with engineers, contractors and construction personnel\. Duties and Responsibilities: + Undertaking the responsibility of managing and overseeing all technical \(Architectural\) aspects of the buildings projects including the deliverables review, QA compliance, and technical coordination with clients, in addition to participating in the preparation of technical proposal and client meetings\. + Overseeing elements of the design and construction processes which includes reviewing building plans, as well as reviewing construction contracts for general contractors\. + Ensuring that construction projects meet environmental, safety, zoning and aesthetic standards\. + Determining and scheduling different stages of the building process according to client needs\. + Monitoring progress and ascertaining whether phases of the construction process are in compliance with building plans and project deadlines\. + Attending all management follow up progress & coordination meetings\. + Reviewing of all key deliverables of the projects, with a focus on their technical completeness, robustness, coordination, and QA compliance, + Ensuring that the Project Delivery Framework \(PDF\) is followed and implemented on the project\(s\) + Leading and supporting the technical development of Architects within the Construction Services Department, to drive technical excellence, knowledge sharing, process standardization and optimization\. + Leading and directing the development, planning and identification of core competencies of the Architectural discipline\. + Developing and managing robust plans to respond to changing market and client demands\. + Contributing to the Architectural technical proposals preparation in connection with the proposed technical methodology, scoping, deliverables identification and scheduling aspects, + Attending of technical meetings, workshops and discussions with clients to undertake technical coordination and facilitate their early review and approval of the deliverables\. + Supporting the group’s project directors in coordinating, controlling and streamlining architectural disciplines input in multi\-disciplinary projects\. + Leading the squad review sessions for the group’s Architectural deliverables prior to their submission to clients\. + Assessing the technical work load of the group staff in view of the projects in hand and those in the pipeline and advising on any requirement to enhance/reinforce these resources\. + Coordinating and controlling the head office design team input in connection with site supervision support\. **Minimum Requirements** Candidates must hold 15 years plus experience in the delivery construction developments in the Middle East\. **Preferred Qualifications** Candidates must be a fully qualified Architect i\.e\.
