More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Water** We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\. **Job Summary** AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our Columbia, SC office\. Responsibilities of the position include: + Manage and provide engineering leadership on water and wastewater facility and infrastructure projects + Supervise the work of multiple technical disciplines with a broad general knowledge of many aspects of wastewater engineering for municipal and industrial market sectors + Oversee and coordinate all technical aspects of large wastewater projects + Find, pursue and win long\-term, large business opportunities by networking with clients as well as within the wastewater industry to develop business relationships + Develop and formulate solutions to client problems on assigned projects + Responsible for the creation of work plans and task definitions + Independently perform most assignments with instructions as to the general results expected + Solid foundation of understanding or analysis of client business practices and goals + Broad knowledge of the business to support cross\-discipline, business line collaboration **Minimum Requirements** + B\.S\. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering + Minimum 10 years of experience as a consulting engineer in the municipal wastewater industry with 4\+ years in the management of projects including leading teams of engineers and managing project budgets + Experience in the management and design of large municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities + Experience in leading and preparing proposals + Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation + Must be able to manage multiple tasks well **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience working with clients in both the public and private sectors + M\.S\.
