More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Water** We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\. **Job Summary** We are currently recruiting for a Senior Clean Water Modeller to join our busy Water Infrastructure Team in our centrally located St\. Albans office\. The Water team brings together the skills of project managers, hydrologists, flood engineers, water scientists, numerical modellers, and environmental and planning specialists to provide integrated, sustainable and cost\-effective solutions\. Activities include; flood defences, dams, water supply and water treatment plants, pumping stations, pipe networks, sewerage, wastewater treatment, and outfalls\. Our clients include local and national government, including the Environment Agency, as well as developers, architects, planners and contractors\. As a Senior Clean Water Modeller you will have the following responsibilities: + Creating and developing network models to support designing, feasibility, scoping, managing and implementation of projects and programmes of work\. + Planning and supervising field work investigations\. + Planning, co\-ordinating and writing reports and technical notes for projects\. + Leading single and multi\-disciplined projects as project manager/task leader\. + Preparation of project engineering solutions\. + Preparation of technical reports and specifications and check work/specifications of sub\-ordinates\. + Assist senior management in the preparation of technical and financial proposals\. + Liaise with government departments, local authorities, water and utility companies, Environment Agency and other public bodies and deliver necessary approvals\. + Contribute with respect to technical development, market sectors and processes\. + Develop client relationships, secure repeat business work where possible and actively seek new work from existing clients\. + Preparation of project proposals / bids / fee estimates\. **Minimum Requirements** + Mathematical modelling expertise\. + A good working knowledge of relevant modelling packages such as Synergee, Infoworks WS, Epanet or InfoWater\. + Ability to undertake clean water model calibration\. + Experience of working with water network hydraulic analysis modelling software, water demand analysis water network design and water network planning studies\. + A working knowledge of using GIS tools \(eg ARCGIS and MAPINFO\)\. + Computer software literate including MSWord, MSExcel\. + Solid experience at consultant project management/task leader level with proven track record in the delivery of projects\. + Awareness of commercial aspects of projects and the ability to design technical specifications and scopes of works for projects\. + Experience of technically reviewing projects, providing design and optioneering input, and in preparation of proposals\. + Experience in supervising and developing staff\. + Excellent oral and written communication, team work, management and client liaison skills\. **Preferred Qualifications** + Degree qualified or equivalent in Civil Engineering or another relevant subject\. + Membership of a relevant institution \(eg\.
