Our design process is based on energy\-efficient building systems, and appropriate selection of materials and form to maximize environmental conditions and long\-term performance\. **Job Summary** AECOM is seeking an enthusiastic Leader for its Buildings \+ Places \(B\+P\) Federal Business Line in the Minneapolis office\. This position reports directly to the B\+P Eastern Midwest Business Unit Leader and is a key member of the Eastern Midwest \(EMW\) Business Development and Senior Leadership Team\. Responsible for sustainment and development of the Federal business across the Midwest Group, while this covers all DoD and non\-DoD Agencies, there will be a focus on DoD healthcare institutions\. The position will require integration within AECOM’s Federal Practice Group by expansion of the resources and capabilities of the Eastern Midwest B\+P Practice\. The EMW B\+P Federal Market Sector Leader will be responsible for achieving annual sales goals through keen understanding of the market place and ability to lead and win key pursuits\. Will also be responsible for overseeing market research and business trends, developing and enhancing customer relationships, and developing and implementing growth strategies to expand our short\-term and long\-term business model\. The EMW B\+P Federal Market Sector Leader will work with a team of Area Business Line Leaders, and Client Account Managers \(CAM\) on plans to grow business in the Federal market through our offices located in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota\. The physical reporting location could occur in any of the AECOM B\+P offices located in the above states\. Project work and client interface may occur throughout the US\. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Support implementation of strategic plans set forth by National Business Line Director, and National Healthcare Business Line Director, Area Manager and Area B\+P Business Unit Leader + Coordinate with local B\+P Business Unit Leaders to identify and maintain successful client/pursuit strategy and teams + Assist in development and achievement of business line sales and revenue goals + Assist in identifying key clients and pursuits + Assist in winning key pursuits + Provide principal level leadership on projects that are successfully marketed and ensure the delivery of high quality work and exceptional client service + Report on status of market segment growth to the Area Managers + Coordinate with other Federal and Healthcare practice leadership in the company + Management and preparation of significant proposals, contracting and teaming negotiation, project management and establishing and sustaining relationships with key subcontractors to support the Federal business **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's degree in related field \(business, marketing, engineering, etc\.\) + Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing / business development experience OR + Demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience **Preferred Qualifications** None **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
