More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** AECOM Environment is seeking a entry\-level environmental scientist to be an active team member in ongoing Ontario, CA office projects\. Key clients are Chevron \(retail portfolio\), BNSF \(environmental compliance\) and the Air Force \(AF\)\. Project work will include assisting project teams with plan preparation, operation, monitoring and maintenance activities, sampling and water level measurements, data management, and report preparation\. Projects involve remediation of contaminated project sites \(Chevron & AF\) and environmental compliance activities such as facility audits, hazardous materials inventories and management, collection of stormwater samples, inspection of facilities and reporting on findings\. **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences or related field + 0\-2 years experience with credit for relevant work experience before and during college + Should have knowledge of local, state and/or federal environmental regulations + Experience and knowledge in air, soil & groundwater remediation regulations and related practices + Experience with collecting and interpreting data collected + Skills in reporting data interpretation to end users + Should be proficient in MS Office suite \(Outlook, Word, Excel\) + Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills needed + Must be detail oriented, thorough, well organized and effectively manage time + Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives + Ability to work in a high\-paced environment with a sense of urgency **Preferred Qualifications** + Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS software preferred + CPR and first aid trained/certified a plus **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
