**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** \* Position is located in Clifton Park, NY\.
AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Scientist to be part of our asbestos/lead/mold program which includes inspection, design/plan, and abatement oversight\. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following which will be performed within a geographic territory:
+ Preparing reports and other technical documents\.
+ Compiling, evaluating, and analyzing environmental data
+ Conducting asbestos surveys
+ Conducting lead paint Inspections
+ Conducting mold / indoor air quality surveys
+ Conducting universal and general hazard inventories surveys
+ Developing abatement design / specification documents
+ Developing wet demolition Specification documents
+ Developing and communicating Requests for Quotations
+ Hosting pre\-bid meetings
+ Providing abatement / mitigation oversight
+ Providing demolition oversight
+ Reviewing contractor job submittals
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience
+ 5\+ years of experience required
+ Asbestos Inspector & Project Monitor Certification
+ DOT and RCRA Training
+ Knowledge of railroad culture
+ Ability to travel 75% of the time
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Indoor air quality inspection experience
+ Knowledge of railroad culture
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Have a history working within the railroad industry
+ RWT Trainer
+ E\-RailSafe Certified
+ Proficient with MS Access Databases
